The best restaurants in Cabo San Lucas and the rest of Los Cabos, if you only have a week, are these seven: Cocina de Autor (the only Michelin star in the area), Manta, Flora's Field Kitchen, Edith's, Baja Cantina, The Office on the Beach and Los Claros for tacos. They run from a formal tasting menu on the corridor to a counter in downtown Cabo, and each one fits a different part of a day on the water.
Every restaurant on this list was open in 2026. Hours are as of October 2026; confirm before you go, because they shift with the season. For the full Michelin list, see our Michelin restaurants in Los Cabos guide.

1. Cocina de Autor: why go for the Michelin star?
Cocina de Autor, inside Grand Velas Los Cabos at km 17 of the corridor, is the only restaurant in Los Cabos with a MICHELIN star. It got the star in 2024 and kept it in the 2026 guide. The format is a tasting menu, and one dish people talk about is cured totoaba with jalapeño. The dress code is formal resort wear, so plan to shower and change first.
This one works best after a morning charter. You get back to the hotel in the afternoon, rest, dress up and take a taxi out to the corridor for dinner.
2. Manta: where do you see the Arch from your table?
Manta is at The Cape, a Thompson Hotel, with chef Enrique Olvera behind the menu. The cooking is Mexican with Peruvian and Japanese touches, and the dining room looks toward the Arch. It is on the MICHELIN Guide's recommended list.
Save it for the day you've been out to the Arch by boat. You see it up close from the water in the afternoon and again from your table that night. Reserve ahead.

3. Flora's Field Kitchen: is the farm worth the drive to San José?
Flora's Field Kitchen is on a farm in Ánimas Bajas, outside San José del Cabo; the farm dates back to 1996. It serves brunch and dinner. Michelin gave it two distinctions in the same guide: a Green Star, for sustainable cooking, and a Bib Gourmand, for good value.
San José is at the other end of the corridor from the marina, so Flora's goes on the day you stay on land. Brunch there and an afternoon walking around San José fill a day well.
4. Edith's: where should you eat after a sunset cruise?
Edith's is on Avenida del Pescador at Médano Beach, with views over the bay and toward the Arch. The menu is Baja cooking with a touch of Guerrero: steaks, lobster and handmade tortillas. It is open from 5 to 10 PM, as of October 2026; confirm before you go. It belongs to the same family as The Office and it is a splurge.
Go right after a sunset cruise. Afternoon trips often come back along Médano Beach, so you'll have just seen the same strip of sand from the water. Book a table for about an hour after you dock.
If you'd rather stay on the Pacific side, El Farallón at the Waldorf Astoria Pedregal sits on the cliff above the ocean and serves a daily menu built on the local catch, with a champagne terrace.
5. Baja Cantina: what's the classic marina breakfast?
Baja Cantina Marina is a palapa on the water across from the entrance to docks L, M and N, and it has been on the marina since 1991, by its own account. It serves seafood and Mexican food, guacamole made at your table and breakfasts like chilaquiles, Steak Benedict and pancakes. Mains run about MXN 310 to 500 on its 2026 menu, and it's open from 7 AM to 11 PM daily, as of October 2026; confirm before you go.
Have breakfast here before a morning departure. It's also where the Azimut 45 Flybridge meets its guests, so if you're on that yacht you can eat and walk straight to the boat. Our Baja Cantina guide has more.
Captain Tony's, on the boardwalk across from the Pabellón Cultural, is the other marina classic. It opens at 5:30 AM for the fishing crowd and is known for its wood-fired pizzas; bacon and shrimp is the signature. The Chaparral 28 and Bayliner 30 board right next to it.

6. The Office on the Beach: where do you eat with your feet in the sand?
The Office sits on Médano Beach and started as a palapa in the 1970s. It serves breakfast, lunch and dinner from 7 AM to 10 PM, as of October 2026, and Thursday is Mexican fiesta night. It looks out over the bay. It closes for part of September every year, so check if you're traveling then.
It's a good lunch after a morning trip. Médano Beach is 0.8 miles (1.3 km) from the marina, a short walk if you're staying at one of the Médano hotels.
7. Los Claros: where do locals go for tacos?
Los Claros, on Ignacio Zaragoza in downtown Cabo San Lucas, does Sinaloa-style seafood tacos: scallop, smoked marlin and fish. It's open from 10 AM to 9 PM, as of October 2026; confirm before you go.
Go for a quick lunch after a 2-hour trip to the Arch. If you'd rather stay closer to the water, Tacos Gardenias on Paseo de la Marina, near Médano Beach, is a family business that has been making fish and shrimp tacos for decades.

How do you fit restaurants into a yacht day in Cabo?
Charters leave Marina Cabo San Lucas between 7 AM and 7 PM, and yachts sail until 8 PM. That gives you three easy patterns:
- Breakfast, then the boat: eat at Baja Cantina or Captain Tony's, then board for a morning trip. Two hours on the Chaparral 28 costs USD 519 (MXN 9,799) for up to 10 guests.
- Boat, then lunch: go out at 9 or 10 AM, come back around noon, and walk to The Office or Los Claros.
- Sunset, then dinner: leave about 90 minutes before sunset, watch it from the water, and have dinner at Edith's or Manta afterward. Sunset times by month are in our trip guide.
Each yacht boards at its own dock in Marina Cabo San Lucas; your exact dock and a map link come on your boarding pass. More places to eat close to the boats are in our marina restaurants guide.
Can you have dinner on the yacht instead?
Yes. On the McKinna 70, a chef cooks a multi-course menu on board and the crew serves complimentary drinks, for up to 12 guests, from USD 4,499 (MXN 85,499) for three hours. On any other yacht you can order food from our menu in the planner, such as a Mexican feast for 6 to 8 at MXN 2,600 cash, and bring your own drinks if you're 18 or older. We don't sell alcohol.
Yachts from the marina can stay anchored in the bay until 10 PM, so dinner at anchor with the town lights coming on is an option too.
Planning your boat day around dinner
Pick the restaurant first, then the trip time. For a morning charter followed by lunch or a quiet dinner, a 2 or 3-hour trip is enough. For dinner after sunset, a 2-hour sunset cruise puts you back at the dock with time to change.
All prices are per boat, with the 16% tax included; the customary 15% crew tip is not included. Use the planner to see the yachts free on your date, or compare them all on the fleet page.
