The Regal 45 is a 45-foot sport yacht for up to 12 guests, private and crewed, from $999 USD (MXN 18,999) per boat for 2 hours with 16% tax included, 2 hour minimum, departing from IGY Marina Fuel Dock, Marina Cabo San Lucas.
A 45-foot sport yacht with a hardtop over the helm and an air-conditioned cabin to cool off between swims. A four-person sunpad on the bow, U-shaped dining with a table in the cockpit, an aft bench facing the water and a swim platform with a ladder. Heads and a freshwater shower on board. Captain and crew included, with snorkel gear, a floating mat and a cooler.
Twelve guests, one price. At four hours that is $175 per guest for a private 45-footer with an air-conditioned cabin, and the competing 45-footers in this marina top out at eight or ten guests.

- A deposit holds your date and your yacht. Once we confirm your date in writing, we send it as a secure Stripe link (card, Apple Pay or Google Pay).
- You pay the rest at the dock on the day, by card or in cash.
- Want to pay everything in cash at the dock? Ask us before you book.
- Cancel more than 72 hours ahead and we refund 75% of what you paid. Between 72 and 48 hours, 50%. Less than 48 hours, no refund.
- If the Port Captain closes the harbor or your captain decides it isn't safe, you choose a new date or a full refund.

How much does it cost to rent the Regal 45 in Cabo San Lucas?
2026 rates: a private charter on the Regal 45 costs USD 999 (MXN 18,999) for 2 hours, up to USD 2,489 (MXN 47,299) for 6 hours. Prices are per boat, not per person, with 16% tax included and no charge per extra guest. The customary 15% crew tip is not included.
How many people fit on the Regal 45?
Up to 12 guests, plus the crew. With a full boat for 4 hours, that is about USD 142 per person. For 12 guests on the 2 hour charter it is about USD 83 each; the price is the same for 2 guests or 12.
What is included on the Regal 45?
Included: captain and crew, cooler with ice, snorkel gear, floating mat. Food from our menu can be added in the planner.
Can we bring our own drinks on the Regal 45?
Yes. Alcohol is not sold on board, but guests 18 and over may bring their own drinks.
Is food included on the Regal 45?
No. Bring your own food and drinks (there is a cooler with ice on board), or order breakfast, box lunches, boards and sodas from our menu in the planner when you book. The CONANP conservation fee for the Arch area is already in the price.
Where does the Regal 45 depart from, and how late can we stay out?
It boards at IGY Marina Fuel Dock, Marina Cabo San Lucas. The map link to the dock comes on your boarding pass. Departures run from 7 AM to 7 PM. The boat sails until 8 PM and can stay anchored in the bay until 10 PM.
When is the best time of year for the Regal 45?
Humpback whales are in the bay from November to April, with January and February as the peak. Sunset charters are best from November to March and in June. Snorkeling is good most of the year at Pelican Rock, next to the Arch, on the 2 hour charter; Santa María Bay needs 4 hours. Departures run from 7 AM to 7 PM all year.
Are whale sightings guaranteed?
No. Humpback whales come to Cabo from November to April, but they are wild animals, so no one can promise a sighting. The crew follows Mexico's whale-watching rules (NOM-131-SEMARNAT-2010) and keeps its distance.
What if the weather cancels the Regal 45 charter?
If the Port Captain (Capitanía de Puerto) closes the harbor or your captain decides it isn't safe, you choose a new date or a full refund of what you paid. Closures are rare and happen only under storm threat, mostly between September and mid October.
Can we decorate the Regal 45 for a birthday or bachelorette?
Yes, with cardstock decorations and a sign. Since October 2026 the Port Captain no longer allows balloons on board, and loose confetti or glitter is not allowed either. Flowers, a cake, drone shots or decor can be arranged when you book and are quoted separately.
Is there a photographer on the Regal 45? Can we bring our own camera?
Yes, as an extra. A professional photographer can join for USD 180, with all the photos from your charter, paid directly to the photographer. Add it in the planner. You are also welcome to bring your own cameras and phones and take all the pictures you want.
How do I book the Regal 45?
The minimum is 2 hours. Pick the date, hours and any food in the planner. We confirm in writing within 2 hours (8 AM to 8 PM Cabo time) and then send a secure Stripe link for the deposit, which holds your date and your yacht. You pay the rest at the dock on the day, by card or in cash.
