The hotel
Pueblo Bonito Rosé Resort & Spa is a 260-suite resort on Playa El Médano in Cabo San Lucas, known for its rose-tinted walls and Greco-Roman theme. It is about 1.1 km in a straight line from the Cabo San Lucas Marina, around 4 minutes by car without traffic, more at rush hour. It opened in 1997 next to Pueblo Bonito's first Los Cabos hotel.
The resort sits right on Playa El Médano. Pueblo Bonito calls Médano one of the best swimmable beaches in Los Cabos and asks guests to follow the posted signs and sea conditions.1
History and curious facts
Pueblo Bonito is a family-owned Mexican hotel company that began with a single hotel in Mazatlán in 1987. Its first Los Cabos resort opened on Médano Beach in 1991, with suites and restaurants turned toward the rock formations at Land's End. Six years later, in 1997, Pueblo Bonito Rosé opened next door with a soft-red façade, and the original hotel picked up the nickname "Blanco" for its white exterior.
The Rosé leans into a Greco-Roman look: rose-tinted walls, marble busts and a large statue of Neptune. The company kept growing after it, with Sunset Beach in 2002 and the adults-only Pacifica in 2005, both in Cabo San Lucas. The Rosé and the Blanco are the two Pueblo Bonito resorts on El Médano, in the busiest part of town.

Your yacht day
From the Rosé you look straight at Land's End, and a yacht gets you there in a few minutes. Our driver collects you at the resort and reaches the Marina in about 4 minutes without traffic, then drops you near your yacht's dock. The Rosé welcomes guests of all ages, so a family outing with a snorkel stop in a calm cove fits well, and groups celebrating a birthday or a bachelorette party can book a longer charter along the coast. From December to April, whale-watching trips go out past the Arch. You can also wave at your own hotel from the water as the boat crosses El Médano on the way back.
