From the ship to the yacht
Sundays: the ship arrives at 12:30 PM. With the 10 to 15 minute tender and the line, count on being at the dock by 1:00 PM. It sails at 8:00 PM, so plan to be back at the dock by 7:00 PM: that leaves 6 hours on the water.

The short answer
Voyager of the Seas (Royal Caribbean) has 27 calls with published times in Cabo San Lucas between October 2026 and April 2027, on no fixed day. On most of them it arrives at 12:30 PM and sails at 8:00 PM: 7 h 30 min in port (7 h 30 min to 10 hours depending on the date). On 11 of those 27 calls it stays overnight in the bay.
The pattern is Sundays, in between 12:00 PM and 12:30 PM and out at 8:00 PM. That is an afternoon call: the useful hours run into the evening, which is when the sun sets over the Arch. On 8 of the 27 calls the ship keeps a different pattern: Sundays, in between 8:00 AM and 12:30 PM and out on Monday at 6:00 PM, an overnight call: the evening is free, and the next morning too. The other 11 calls fall on other days or at other hours; the table below has every date.
Cabo is a tender port: the ship anchors in the bay and the tenders take 10 to 15 minutes to the landing on the south side of Marina Cabo San Lucas, the same marina where our yachts board: each one at its own dock, and your exact dock and a map link come on your boarding pass.
These times are published by third parties (the cruise lines and port calendars) and we checked them on 10 Oct 2026. They change during the season, so confirm them with your cruise line before you book anything around them. Every time here is Cabo time: Mountain Standard Time all year, with no daylight saving.
Your plan on the day
Sundays: the ship arrives at 12:30 PM. With the 10 to 15 minute tender and the line, count on being at the dock by 1:00 PM. It sails at 8:00 PM, so plan to be back at the dock by 7:00 PM: that leaves 6 hours on the water.
The sun sets between about 5:35 and 6:40 PM depending on the month, and you are back at the dock by 7:00 PM. A 2 hour cruise leaving at 5:00 PM passes Pelican Rock, the sea lions and the Arch in low light and comes back along Médano Beach. If you would rather go early, the same 2 hour route leaves at 1:00 PM and frees you from 3:00 PM for town.
With 6 hours available, the 4 hour trip fits: leave at 1:00 PM, pass the Arch and run up the coast to snorkel Santa María Bay, with a swim stop on the way back, and you are at the dock by 5:00 PM, 2 hours before your time to be back. Note: Santa María Bay is closed for snorkeling for now and we expect it to reopen in November (updated October 10, 2026); on calls before November the snorkel stop is Pelican Rock instead. Ask us.
With the tender and the line, you are ashore around 1:00 PM. The ship stays the night, so there is no all-aboard that afternoon. Leave the dock between 3:30 PM and 4:30 PM, depending on the month, to watch the sun set behind the Arch (from November to April it sets between about 5:35 and 6:40 PM). Yachts sail until 8 PM, and those from the marina can stay anchored in the bay until 10:00 PM, so there is time for dinner on board facing the town lights.
The ship sails at 6:00 PM. A 2 hour Arch and Pelican Rock run leaving at 7:00 AM has you back at the dock by 9:00 AM, 8 hours before the time you want to be back (5:00 PM).

Each yacht boards at its own dock in Marina Cabo San Lucas, the same marina where the tenders land; your exact dock and a map link come on your boarding pass. The Sea Ray 65 meets you at Fisherman's Landing restaurant, by the Cabo Escape terminal.
The times are published by third parties and we checked them on 10 Oct 2026; confirm them with your cruise line. If your ship moves its hours, text us and we move the yacht's departure: the plan always has you at the dock an hour before the ship sails.
