An all-inclusive yacht charter in Cabo San Lucas means the food is on board and, on two of the three yachts, the crew serves complimentary drinks. The McKinna 70 has a chef cooking a multi-course menu on board and complimentary drinks served by a crew of five, from USD 4,499 (MXN 85,499) for three hours. The Azimut 70 has a set menu on board and complimentary beer and cocktails served by a crew of three, from USD 4,199 (MXN 79,799) for three hours. The Sea Ray 65 has an all-inclusive option from USD 3,699 (MXN 70,299) for three hours. All three take up to 12 guests, and prices are per boat with the 16% tax included. Every other yacht in the fleet is boat-only: you add food from our menu and bring your own drinks.
Each of the three includes something different, and the hourly prices differ too, so they're laid out side by side, followed by what a boat-only yacht plus the menu costs for the same group.

The McKinna 70: chef on board
The McKinna 70 comes with:
- A bilingual crew of five, including the captain and deckhands
- A chef on board
- A multi-course menu cooked on board
- Welcome snacks and fresh guacamole
- Complimentary drinks, served by the crew
The McKinna 70 boards at Marina Cabo San Lucas, downtown, with no dock fee; the exact dock comes with your confirmation. The minimum is three hours.

Three hours keeps you around Land's End and the bay. Four hours reaches Santa María Bay to snorkel when it's open (closed for now, expected to reopen in November; meanwhile the stop is Pelican Rock next to the Arch), and with five to eight hours the full-day route adds Chileno Bay, with lunch at anchor, about 18.5 miles round trip.

The Azimut 70: menu on board, two cabins, A/C
The Azimut 70 is a 70-foot flybridge for up to 12 with two cabins, an air-conditioned salon and a crew of three. The price includes a menu on board (fish ceviche, sashimi, beef or chicken fajitas, guacamole with chips), complimentary beer and cocktails served by the crew, water, sodas and ice, and snorkel gear and water toys. A chef on board is available at an extra charge. The Azimut 70 boards at the IGY Marina Fuel Dock in Marina Cabo San Lucas with no dock fee.

Which of the two 70-footers fits your day is the subject of our McKinna 70 vs Azimut 70 comparison.

The Sea Ray 65: boat-only or all-inclusive
The Sea Ray 65 is a 65-foot express motor yacht for up to 12 guests, and you can book it two ways. Both are per boat with tax included.
| Hours | Boat-only | All-inclusive option |
|---|---|---|
| 3 | USD 2,509 / MXN 47,699 | USD 3,699 / MXN 70,299 |
| 4 | USD 2,999 / MXN 56,999 | USD 4,659 / MXN 88,599 |
| 5 | USD 3,549 / MXN 67,499 | USD 5,519 / MXN 104,899 |
| 6 | USD 4,099 / MXN 77,899 | USD 6,219 / MXN 118,199 |
| 8 | USD 5,049 / MXN 95,999 | USD 7,669 / MXN 145,799 |
Boat-only includes a captain and deckhand, the standard route (the Arch, Lover's Beach and Médano Bay), a paddle board, snorkel gear and a lily pad floating mat. The all-inclusive option adds the food; drinks stay bring-your-own for guests 18 and over.
The Sea Ray 65 meets you at Fisherman's Landing restaurant, by the Cabo Escape terminal, from 8 AM. It also has to be back by 8 PM, when the Cabo Escape terminal closes, so it can't stay anchored in the bay after dark the way marina yachts can.

The alternative: a boat-only yacht plus our menu
If you want the food sorted on a different yacht, book any boat-only yacht and add food from our menu in the planner. Menu prices are cash prices in pesos; paying by card adds 16%.
Here's an example for 12 people on the Sea Ray 40 for four hours:
| Item | Price | About in USD |
|---|---|---|
| Sea Ray 40, 4 hours | MXN 28,499 | USD 1,499 |
| Mexican feast for 14 to 16 people | MXN 4,550 | USD 239 |
| Large board | MXN 2,520 | USD 133 |
| 24 sodas | MXN 1,224 | USD 64 |
The food comes to MXN 8,294 in cash, about USD 437 at 19 pesos to the dollar. With the boat, that's about USD 1,936 for the group, or about USD 161 per person, before the tip and before whatever drinks you bring. The Sea Ray 40 already includes bottled water and ice.
The same four hours on the McKinna 70 is USD 5,999, about USD 500 per person before the tip. What you're paying for is a chef cooking a multi-course meal on board and a crew pouring the drinks. Our private yacht with a chef guide goes through the chef option on its own.

What's on the menu
For morning charters there's breakfast: chilaquiles and beans, huevos rancheros, French toast or banana pancakes at MXN 325 each, and sirloin steak sandwiches, chicken sandwiches or serrano and burrata focaccia at MXN 520.
For lunch, box lunches run from MXN 238 (turkey breast or tuna) to MXN 289 (burrito). The Mexican feast is MXN 2,600 for 6 to 8 people or MXN 4,550 for 14 to 16.
Boards go from a small board at MXN 780 to an XL board at MXN 3,120. Drinks start at MXN 17 for bottled water and MXN 51 for a soda.
How much food to order for a boat-only charter
A simple way to plan it is by the time of day and the length of the trip.
| Charter | Menu idea | Cash price |
|---|---|---|
| Morning, 2 to 3 hours | One breakfast per person | MXN 325 to 520 each |
| Midday, 4 hours | Box lunches, or a lunch and 5 soft drinks pack | MXN 238 to 493 each |
| Afternoon, 4 hours or more, group of 6 to 8 | Mexican feast for 6 to 8 | MXN 2,600 |
| Sunset, 2 hours | A board to share | MXN 780 to 3,120 |
The burrito platter (MXN 901) is another option for sharing. For drinks beyond what the yacht includes, the menu has Gatorade at MXN 68 and Red Bull or Monster at MXN 102.
All of it is ordered in the planner when you book the yacht.
Bringing your own drinks on a boat-only yacht
On every yacht except the Azimut 70 and the McKinna 70, alcohol isn't sold or served, so you bring your own. Everyone drinking has to be 18 or over. Coolers come with most yachts, and several include ice, so check the yacht page and ask if you need more room.
For a group that drinks, this is where boat-only saves the most, since you buy what you like in town and bring it aboard.
All-inclusive or boat-only plus menu?
| McKinna 70 | Azimut 70 | Boat-only yacht plus menu | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Food | Multi-course menu cooked on board by a chef | Set menu on board | Ordered from our menu in the planner |
| Alcohol | Complimentary drinks served by the crew | Complimentary beer and cocktails served by the crew | Bring your own (18+) |
| Crew | Crew of five: captain, deckhands and chef | Captain and two crew | Captain, plus deckhand on most yachts |
| Minimum | 3 hours | 3 hours | 2 hours |
| 4 hours for 12 | USD 5,999 | USD 5,299 | About USD 2,069 in the Sea Ray 40 example |
The all-inclusive yachts make sense when nobody in the group should have to plan anything: a honeymoon splurge, a milestone birthday on the water, or a corporate trip with clients on board. For a couple, our Cabo honeymoon guide covers them alongside smaller yachts for two.
Boat-only plus the menu makes sense when the price matters more, or when your group would rather bring its own drinks. It also opens up the rest of the fleet: the Pontoon 38 for 18 guests, or the Sea Ray 55 for 15 with air conditioning and cabins.
If you're still choosing a boat, our guide to choosing a yacht in Cabo goes by group size, and our price guide lists every yacht by the hour.
What's never included
- The 15% crew tip, on any yacht.
- Fishing, except on the McKinna 70's sport-fishing charter, which includes the Mexican fishing licenses. The other yachts are pleasure yachts without fishing permits.
- Extras quoted separately: drone photos, flowers, cake, decorations (cardstock and a sign only; no balloons) and hotel pickup. A DJ goes on yachts of 40 ft or more, from USD 399 for 2 hours (USD 649 for 3 hours on 50 ft and up, their minimum), plus USD 150 per extra hour, paid directly to the DJ.
A professional photographer can join for USD 180, with all the photos from your charter, paid directly to the photographer. Add it in the planner. The hours are the same for every yacht too. Departures run from 7 AM to 7 PM and yachts sail until 8 PM. Yachts from the marina, the two 70-footers included, can stay anchored in the bay until 10 PM.
If the Port Captain closes the harbor for a hurricane or storm threat (most closures fall between September and mid-October), you choose a new date or get a full refund.
